I am the artist and creator behind Adair Creative Studio. I am based out of North Georgia, living in the mountains with my husband, three dogs, and our cat, who might as well be a dog. While I am a Birmingham, Alabama native, we love our new life in the Appalachian foothills surrounded by the shady trees and abundant wildlife. I am a self taught artist who began my journey seven years ago creating signs, and lettering quotes and scripture. Since then, I’ve organically grown in my craft and began to pursue calligraphy, watercolor art, and stationery design.

Nature is my greatest inspiration. I personally use nature and the vast  variety of landscapes to decide color palettes, mood, and textures in my designs. I believe that our environment influences who we become, which is why I feel so thankful to be nestled in the trees. Nature is often my starting point for a fine art collection or design project.

Nature

My inspiration comes from...

I love all things interior design! If you are a client of mine, you shouldn't be surprised if the majority of your mood board is comprised of home interiors. I love learning from the way interior designers use colors, textures, and patterns to create an experience that is felt as much as it is seen. The feeling of 'home' is ultimately unique to the client, often made complete by combining the old and the new. I aim to adapt these same principles while creating wedding stationery or custom art for my clients.

Interior Design

I adore my studio. It is nestled above our home garage and was once an attic that has been converted into my business's name sake (Adair Creative Studio). I have a little window that perfectly frames the changing seasons and mountain view, and the back porch is where my dog enjoys to sunbathe. Every once in a while I might even catch a bear wandering past. It is inspiring, bright, homey, and organized (most of the time). My studio is where many of my ideas begin, and where I get to connect to you, my client.

My Studio

After all, I can't do most of my work without you! My clients' ideas and visions are just as important to me as my own. You may source your inspiration from elsewhere, and it is imperative that I adopt that into my design when creating your art or wedding stationery. Part of custom design is just that, custom. My job is getting to personally know my client and the stories behind the art I create for you to hold dear.
